White tea
(Whitetea), belonging to micro fermented tea, is a traditional famous tea created by Chinese tea farmers. One of the six major tea categories in China. This type of tea is processed through sun drying or low heat drying without undergoing blanching or rolling. It is named after its finished tea, which is mostly sprouted and covered in white hair, resembling silver like snow. The main production areas are in Fuding, Zhenghe, Songxi, Jianyang, Jinggu, Yunnan, and other places in Fujian.
White tea has the quality characteristics of intact buds, covered with hair, fragrant and fresh, clear yellow green soup color, and a light and sweet taste. It is a special treasure in the Chinese tea category.
